Poetry and Tea in the Village

A 4-Week Mini Course

“Appreciating Life & Spirit Through Words”

 

Sigrid Kellenter, a former language and literature teacher and a North Star Village member, is holding three places in her new poetry mini course for three North Star Village members. Sigrid said, “I am looking for 3 committed poetry lovers (to join my existing trio) who would like to meet with us at my home on the third Thursdays of February (15th), March (15th), April (19th), and May (17th) from 2-4:30 pm.We will devote one meeting each to the poets Rumi, Emily Dickinson, Rainer Maria Rilke, and Mary Oliver (in that order).” The workshops will be held in Sigrid’s home, which is near Pennisula Park. As for accessibility, it has shallow steps that come up to the door from the courtyard.
