About this event
Join North Star Village member Iris Wernher on this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's.
You’ll be walking with Iris and the "Neuron Nerds" team. The team describes itself as "a ragtag group of dreamers and doers united by our shared belief that more can be done to support those living bravely with dementia as well as the people caring tirelessly for them." You can sign up online with the Alzheimer's Association (http://bit.ly/2ydv6ff) or at the event. The event is free. You can, but don't have to, make a donation.
Registration opens at 9am, the opening ceremony is at 11am, and the walk starts immediately after the ceremony (route length is approx. 3.7 miles with an optional turnaround point after half a mile). Iris will be greeting Villagers at 10am near the registration booth. Please email nsvpdx@gmail.com with any questions.
