A Sample Age Café Session

Tuesday, October 7, 10:00 to 11:00 AM

Daybreak Cohousing - 2525 N. Killingworth St.

What is Age Café?

Age Café is a monthly discussion group for seniors. Join the conversation. Discuss relevant topics with North Star members and other members of our community at a sample Age Café session.

Who Started Age Café?

Age Café was developed by Viva Village and Kera Magarill, Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services. For the past several years, monthly sessions have been held at Beaverton Public Library.

Why are we having a sample session?

In order to request monthly space at a Multnomah County Library, we need to be sure we have enough North Star members trained through the two- hour training session in November to serve as table discussion facilitators.

The sample session is to help you understand what Age Café is all about so you can decide if you’d like to go through facilitator training.
