Another fabulous and fun day is planned when Envisioning My Future offers another all-villages event: Telling Our Stories. We will have Village representatives tell about their Village writing or oral storytelling programs. Other community programs offer structure and support for your narrative or folklore.

Some people write as a very personal experience; others want to share with family or community. Your stories may be cathartic or a celebration of family memories. Any modality you choose will be a welcome part of this engaging day as we learn about written and oral storytelling and why it is meaningful both to you and to those with whom you choose to tell your story.

When planning for your trip to Telling Our Stories, check for traffic delays due to I-5 construction, which is supposed to be finished by then. We encourage carpooling, although there is ample on-site parking. Look for the upper parking area near the big double doors.

Register for catering purposes by October 22. And let us know if you require vegetarian, vegan or gluten free options.
