Color Line: Black Excellence on the World Stage

This monthly event, which is free for adults 62 and over and includes Museum admission, takes place in the Kridel Ballroom on the third floor of the Mark Building. Arrive any time between 9:15 and 10:00 a.m. for coffee.  At 10:15 a.m., Alex Haynes and Ted Smith, Portland Art Museum staff members, will discuss an exhibit at the 1900 Paris Exposition (a portion of which is now on exhibit at the Portland Art Museum) in which W.E.B. Du Bois presented a remarkable portrait of African American life.
