What comes to mind when you think of “aging”? Is it a stage of growth and opportunity… or debility and disdain? Research tells us that our beliefs about aging impact how well and long we live. Learn where ageist beliefs come from and how to identify them in our day-to-day lives. Start to uncover and reset internalized negative age beliefs, debunk age myths, and learn how to become a paradigm-shifting, narrative-changing champion of aging for yourself and future generations. This topic is one we all need. It’s easy to focus on the downsides of aging, but our speaker Kera Magarill, MA, Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist with Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services, will provide a new perspective. Pre-registration is required. Register now! Email lizkennedy@northstarvillagepdx.org On the Subject line, write “Positive Aging” and in the body of the email, include your name, your email address, phone number, and your village. Thank you!
