The lecture will be presented by Dr. Christopher Pramuk, Chair of Ignatian Thought and Imagination and Associate Professor of Theology at Regis University. Dr. Pramuk offers a portal into the struggle for diversity and inclusion via the remarkable story of one-time slave trader John Newton, composer of “Amazing Grace.” The lecture will be held in Franz Hall 120 at the University of Portland.
